On July 28^th we attended the annual national conference held in Atlanta, Georgia. Managers and selected leaders from around the nation gathered to absorb knowledge and inspiration, network with others and kick back to have a good time. National Wrestling Champion Anthony Robles, was the key note speaker this year. Anthony shared with us his challenges of being born with only one leg and pursuing his dream of becoming an accomplished wrestler. He explained how he overcame the challenges he faced, without being discouraged even though others doubted him.  Anthony moved us with his astonishing biography. His story was enlightening and inspirational. 

The conference was followed by a cocktail reception and award ceremony. A few of the awards given during the ceremony included Rookie Owner of the Year, who received an extreme office makeover by Michael Murphy and The Promoting Owner of the Year, who received an all inclusive trip for four to Belize. Each Manager also had a chance to announce the Top Leaders they selected. Congrats to everyone who received awards! 

During the ceremony the organization made a goal to raise $200,000 to support the Operation Smile Mission. At the reception efforts were made to pledge towards the cause and together the pledges not only exceeded the goal, but raised more than $400,000! We are proud to support a great cause to make a positive impact on others lives. The weekend turned out to be very motivating and fun for all of us. We are already looking forward to next year!
